NÚRIA FUSTER
Within the Artists-in- Residence Program, CCA is delighted to host Núria Fuster. Fuster was born in 1978 in Alcoi, Spain. She is currently working and living in Berlin, and will be staying in Studio Rojo during July 2019.
She finished her studies of Ma Fine Art-Sculpture in 2002 at Universidad Politécnia de Valencia in Spain. She has participated in numerous exhibitions in Spain as well as in Germany, Switzerland, Uruguay, USA, Austria and South Korea.
Núria Fuster’s practice is characterized by the mediums of photography, installation and sculpture whereas primitive agents such as air, fire, temperature changes or gravity actively participate and determine the work. Her interest extends into notions of inherent tension and controlled chaos through material reorganization. Her structures reflect points of focus in behaviors and processes that evidence the natural hegemony of things.
